Business Casual Women: What you need to know about the new business pay app
A new app that lets women work from home without ever leaving the office has received a big boost in popularity from business owners and their employees.
Key points:The pay app, Paychex, has more than 7,000 registered users, and the app has received praise from customersThe app allows women to pay for the same tasks as menThe app has been gaining popularity with business owners who use it to manage the schedules of employeesWorking from home is not an option for many of Australia’s women.
For the most part, women can’t get to the office to pick up their children from school, or spend time with their families, unless they’re at a job, and they don’t have the flexibility to spend more time at home with their kids.
In some cases, women do not have the money for travel or childcare.
But with the new PaycheX app, women working from home can make payments without leaving their workplace.
The app uses a secure messaging platform, and allows women who want to work from the comfort of their home to manage their finances and make payments.
“We know that women and men who work from work and are paid for that work are different,” said Paychexs chief executive, Alice Smith.
“The Paychext app helps to bridge that gap.
It lets women who work and have families work from anywhere in the world.”
Paychex has received some criticism for offering a pay-for-work app.
“Women’s unpaid time is often spent working for companies they don.t belong to,” wrote one critic.
“This is a real problem and a real barrier for many women.”
The app offers a range of paid activities including childcare, office supplies, home improvement, travel and retail.
“Paychext helps women in all areas to have more control over their own time,” said Ms Smith.
Women can start using Paychexx from anywhere, from home, using the app or using the web.
“If you’re not sure where you can use the app, the Paychexy website is very helpful,” Ms Smith said.
Paychexy’s CEO Alice Smith said the app was important because it allowed women to get paid for work they did not want to do.
“It’s also an opportunity for us to engage with our customers, particularly those in the childcare sector,” Ms Johnson said.
“When we see the women we meet on the Pay Chex app, they want to be part of our team.”
They want to help us improve our product and their lives.
“The PayChext app was launched in late April, and it is available for iOS, Android and Blackberry devices.”
At this stage we’re focusing on getting the app onto as many of our platforms as possible,” Ms Johnston said.
